Take the First Step

Whether you're thinking about changing careers, or launching a new venture, or writing a book....whatever it might be....it's the first step that's the hardest. In fact, it's challenging enough that many people opt never to take that step. They find reasons to delay. They think of reasons why their idea isn't good enough. And so on.

Sometimes, it makes sense to postpone if you don't have your ducks in a row. After all, you want to give yourself as good a chance as possible at succeeding. But at some point, you've got to get off the fence and just go for it. And when you do, you'll find that the hardest part is probably already behind you. After that, it's one foot in front of the other.
