Sand Castles

Some of you contacted me after last week's post about the sand sculptures wondering if I had more photos. Indeed, I do! After having photographed them on Tuesday evening, I went back Thursday morning at daybreak in hopes of making images featuring the sculptures along with color at the edge of the day.

It seemed like a long shot since the sky directly overhead was completely clear with stars plainly visible as I pulled out of my driveway. Not exactly the recipe for color!

However, as I neared the shore, I could see there were some clouds low in the eastern sky. The color was spectacular!
