Remembering Walter Metschke

My beloved father died suddenly one year ago today. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him; how blessed I was to know this wonderful man as 'Dad.'

The words that a father speaks to his children in the privacy of home are not heard by the world,
but, as in whispering-galleries, they are clearly heard at the end and by posterity.
