How true! It can be as small as giving a warm smile to someone. Seemingly inconsequential gestures sometimes have great impact. We may not know about the trials a person is facing...what sort of bad news they may have received...what may be weighing on their heart. Even when you know someone well - this is not necessarily information they'll share.

A smile - or a kind word - could be a lifeline that helps to keep them afloat that day. You may have helped without knowing it. Opportunities are everywhere.
