Not So Fast?

And here we are. Another turn of the calendar page brings us not only to a new month, but a new year. (They seem to be cruising by with alarming speed....)

During his message last Sunday, the pastor at my church reminded us not to be so hasty in packing up Christmas and moving on to whatever might be next on the schedule. He suggested that we take the time to bask in the hope, and the peace, and the joy of that Great Gift. And as we pass through 2019 and experience not only the happy events - but also the inevitable challenges and difficulties - that we remember that Christmas Gift. Emmanuel; God with us.

"The Lord your God will never leave you nor forsake you."
