Mother's Day Remembrances

Before marriage and six children, this is my mother at her high school commencement.

I often think about what her life was like as a young woman. She suffered a serious stroke when I was still in college - and became a living example of grace in spite of extremely difficult circumstances.

My best friend; I miss her.
