March - In Like a Lion?

What's the verdict where you live? Is March coming in with bluster....or in a more benign fashion? Is it tons of snow, or can you see the crocus popping their heads through? Maybe it's something in between. (If you live in a mild climate, you're smiling about this talk of snow as you grab your clubs and head out to the course...!)

Both shots above were taken at my house....but neither one is from this year. As March 2013 rolls into town, we're closer to the top photo with quite a bit of snow remaining on the ground, but nowhere near what you see pictured (thank goodness). It can be safely assumed that the crocus in my gardens are still snoozing.
