Let us Rejoice

This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

My nephew sent me this snapshot earlier in the week. He completed an 18-month gig supporting a Portsmouth, New Hampshire-based company yesterday, so his final Boston to Billings (where he lives) commuter trip is now in the rear-view mirror.

Though it would have been far superior had he been assigned this project while I still lived in the Granite State, it's been nice for me to have him working there. My heart is still back in New Hampshire so it has been a weekly connection to the area.

Knowing that this was going to be his final week, I told him I wished I could fly back and celebrate with him - maybe take a river cruise on the Piscataqua. Lo and behold, that's exactly what his team ended up doing on Tuesday night. Based on the photo, they had some lovely weather conditions.
