God is Awake

I like this wonderful Victor Hugo line. With a nod to the great difficulties we may confront in life, the way in which he reminds us that we're being watched over is quite comforting.

A prolific writer, probably best known for his novels The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Les Miserables, his will consisted only of a few brief sentences. The last line: I believe in God.
