Faith is the Bridge

Faith is the bridge between where I am and where God is taking me. A pastor friend posted this line on Facebook the other day. Not only did I like the analogy, but I immediately thought about one of my aerial shoots over central Florida, in which I had a wonderful time photographing the many bridges between the barrier islands and mainland. A pairing seemed natural!

Since I got into aerial photography a little over a year ago, I've twice had the good fortune to take the camera up with my brother piloting the plane - which for me is a triple treat! First, it means I'm up in the air shooting. Second, I'm visiting my brother. Third, I'm getting a break from the cold weather in the north!

On this day, we flew out of Vero Beach, spent some time along the coast, and then went inland to the general vicinity of Blue Cypress Lake before heading back.
