Consider How Far You've Come

I love this line about hanging in there and persevering.

I had been looking for a back road to photograph while in the White Mountains on a shoot early this month. There are a lot of scripture verses referencing roads or paths, not to mention other quotes like this one.

I'm almost always able to use that type of a shot, so I'm usually on the lookout. Nothing had jumped out at me as having the "feel" I was after. Then this little access road caught my eye. It was drizzling, so the autumn colors were quite saturated. There was a nice mix of yellows, reds, and oranges. The road meandered. Bingo!

It was also the last chance I had that day before the skies opened up and the heavy rains came. Fortunate timing!
