Personalized Keepsake for the Confirmand
Commemorating Confirmation Day
Confirmation often takes place around Easter or in the spring, which means it's prime time for this special event. It's an important milestone in a young person's spiritual life.
I can still tell you the date of my own confirmation, even though it was many moons ago. :) To help commemorate it, my aunt - who was into pottery at the time - fired, glazed and decorated a piece which I still have: it's a lovely open Bible, adorned with flowers. On its pages are written my name, confirmation date, church name and location, the name of the pastor who confirmed me, and my confirmation verse.
That keepsake was the inspiration for the confirmation mementos you'll find here at The Christian Gift. Like the gift I received from my aunt, these pieces are personalized and include details from the day, including the confirmation verse in your choice of translations.
If you select the frame-ready option, the piece will be double matted and mounted on a backing board - so it'll be ready to slip into any frame of your choosing. Because it comes in a protective clear cover suitable for presentation, it can also be given as-is. Especially if you don't know what color frame the recipient would prefer, this is a great option.
If you'd prefer to receive the piece ready to hang, it'll be mounted and framed (in your choice of frame). A dust cover and wall protectors will be added to the back of the piece. This is the same type of finishing you'd receive from a custom frame shop.
Either way, the artwork is created using only premium archival materials. Everything - from the paper the piece is printed on, to the inks, the matboard, the backing board, and even the mounting tape - is premium quality. The matboard will not yellow over time, nor will it bleed onto the artwork, damaging it.
