Christmas Countdown (Five Days!)
It Came Upon the Midnight Clear (1849) is one of my favorites, though it doesn't seem to end up on Christmas albums very often.
I find the third verse to be particularly poignant:
All ye beneath life's crushing load
Whose forms are bending low Who toil along the climbing way With painful steps and slowLook now for glad and golden hours
