A New Day

When I head over to the shore to shoot the sunrise, I always have company as the lobster boats head out each morning at daybreak. It's a quite peaceful and pleasant start to the day...though also very early this time of year!

While we've lost a half hour to the start of the day since the summer solstice, the sun still comes up at roughly 5:30am, which means I have to be in position at 4:45 (the best color, if there's going to be good color, always appears prior to the sun coming up). Have a great day!
